Chisinau, 24 July 2014 - At this critical juncture in Moldova’s history, both regionally and domestically, NATO Parliamentary Assembly President Hugh Bayley met the country’s governmental and parliamentary leaders. In meetings with President Nicolae Timofti, Prime Minister Iurie Leancă, and Speaker of the Parliament Igor Corman, President Bayley welcomed Moldova’s recently signed EU Association Agreement and the visa liberalization between the EU and Moldova.

Allemagne, 27 juin 2014 - Les représentants du gouvernement allemand considèrent que le conflit qui touche l'Ukraine et s'étend au-delà de ses frontières est le plus grand défi sécuritaire de l'après-guerre froide. Le message adressé à la délégation de membres de l'Assemblée parlementaire de l'OTAN à Berlin est que la réponse de l’OTAN aux tactiques de « guerre hybride » de la Russie doit être complète. Cette réponse pourrait comporter une capacité accrue de l'OTAN à déployer rapidement des moyens supplémentaires auprès des alliés les plus vulnérables.
