José Lello, President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, will address heads of state and government participating in the NATO Summit in Bucharest from 2 to 4 April 2008. His address will take place on the morning of 3 April.

Later that day, Mr. Lello will also participate in the meeting on Afghanistan.  This will bring together representatives of all the ISAF troop-contributing countries as well as other key international leaders, including Afghan President Hamid Karzai, United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, and senior officials from other major international bodies such as the European Union and the World Bank.
