The NATO Parliamentary Assembly is sending a delegation to observe the upcoming general election in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Led by Senator Wladyslaw Sidorowicz of Poland, the delegation is acting on the invitation of Dr. Milorad Živković, Speaker of the Bosnia and Herzegovina’s parliament.

In the days leading up to the election on October 3, the delegation will meet with Ambassador Gary D. Robbins, Head of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Mrs. Caroline Ravaud, Special Representative of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe in Bosnia and Herzegovina. NATO PA members will also meet with representatives of the political parties, the Central Election Commission, and the media.    The delegation will observe the general election at various polling stations in and around Sarajevo

The NATO Parliamentary Assembly election observation delegation is integrated within the framework of the International Election Observation Mission, in partnership with the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
