Turkey has been and remains a stalwart NATO Ally. However, Turkey seeks forward movement on its aspirations to join the European Union, as well as greater co-operation from its partners in Turkey’s struggle with the PKK terrorist organisation. These were the principal points made by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to members of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Ankara on October 28. |
