Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 November will be devoted to the meetings of the NATO PA’s five Committees: Political, Defence and Security, Science and Technology, Civil Dimension of Security and Economics and Security. Each Committee will discuss and adopt Reports and policy recommendations on a broad range of security and defence topics and will be addressed by prominent speakers from government, academia, NGO’s and NATO.

The Plenary Session on Monday 12 November will be addressed by Dr Karl A. LAMERS, President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Milan STECH, President of the Senate of the Czech Republic, Miroslava NEMCOVA, Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic,  Anders Fogh RASMUSSEN, NATO Secretary General, Jean-Claude MIGNON, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Mikheil SAAKASHVILI, President of Georgia, Filip VUJANOVIC, President of  Montenegro, Egemen BAGIS, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator of Turkey, Nikola GRUEVSKI, Prime Minister of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia* and other authorities.

PRESS BRIEFING

Media representatives are welcome to ask questions during the opening Press Briefing on Friday 9 November at 11:00 with the NATO PA President and the Head of the Czech Delegation to the NATO PA, Mr Jan HAMACEK, in the Prague Congress Centre.
