The President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Pierre Lellouche, together with three Vice-Presidents, will travel to the West Bank and Israel from 14-17 May 2005.

NATO parliamentarians will hold meetings with political leaders of the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank and with representatives of the Israeli government and the Knesset.
 
These meetings, aimed at assessing the state of the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, are part of the NATO Assembly’s outreach effort in the Mediterranean region and the broader Middle East.
