01 February 2010 - NATO Parliamentary Assembly Participates in Election Observation Mission in Ukraine

The NATO Parliamentary Assembly election observation delegation is fully integrated within the framework of the International Election Observation Mission, which also includes the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and the European Parliament.

The members of the delegation will meet with presidential candidates, representatives of the Ukrainian Central Election Commission and NGOs on 5 February and then travel to various locations around the country to observe the election on 7 February.
