I am appalled by the violence employed by the Libyan regime against its own citizens. These actions will only serve to inflame the grievances of the Libyan people. The response to citizens’ desires for basic rights and freedoms should be reform, not further repression. |

I know that I represent all members of the Assembly in calling for an end to the callous aggression being inflicted on the Libyan people. |
