14 March 2012 - STATEMENT OF THE UKRAINE-NATO INTERPARLIAMENTARY COUNCIL

The Ukraine – NATO Interparliamentary Council (UNIC) was created in 1998 to bring greater transparency to the implementation of the NATO–Ukraine Charter and to demonstrate parliamentary interest and involvement in co-operation between NATO and Ukraine. Members of UNIC meet twice a year: once in Brussels at NATO HQ and once in Kyiv at the Ukrainian parliament. The members of the UNIC met in Kyiv on 14 March 2012 to discuss the implementation of the Annual National Programme (ANP) for 2011 and prospects for 2012. At the end of the meeting, members adopted the following joint statement. |
