The Assembly logo

In 1999 when the North Atlantic Assembly� became the NATO Parliamentary Assembly� a new logo had to be designed because the old one was a graphic based on the letters NAA.

The concept for the new logo was simple: combine the NATO star with a parliamentary hemicycle. The logo on the new website retains the same concept but improves the sense of perspective. The NATO star no longer perches on top of a hemicycle, but is embraced in a stylized, three-tiered chamber.
