ACCREDITATION PROCEDURE

 

Romanian and foreign media representatives wishing to cover the session and to participate in other press events, which will take place during the works of the Annual Session of NATO Parliamentary Assembly, will need special accreditation.

The Accreditation Procedure shall take place from 8 - 30 September.  No accreditation applications will be accepted after 30 September.

Access of the accredited press to the ParliamentPalace will be at entrance A3S2, towardIzvorPark, based. The special accreditation badge will be available to be collected at the press registration point especially arranged at the entrance at A3S2 of theParliamentPalace from September 22, between 9.00 am and 17.00. 

Media representatives who are already accredited to the Parliament (Chamber of Deputies and/or Senate) are only asked to complete the accreditation attached to this document.  

Journalists who are not accredited to the Parliament and who wish to attend the NATO PA Session, must send the completed accreditation form as requested, accompanied by a copy of their journalist permit, currently valid, and by a copy of their identity document (identity card or passport).  The documents necessary to obtain accreditation should be submitted to the Romanian Press Secretariat in the Chamber of Deputies, PM level, room 19, or may be sent by fax, to + 40 (0) 21 312 0827 or by e-mail to  flux@cdep.ro.

If the special accreditation badge is lost, media representatives must contact immediately the Romanian Press Secretariat at + 40 (0) 21 414 1798.

 

INTERNAL AND SECURITY RULES DURING THE EVENT

 

The accreditation badge must be worn, during the entire duration of the event. When accessing the building, journalists must also have photographic identification with them.

On receipt of the accreditation badge, journalists wishing to participate in the event will also receive a copy of the Internal Rules and Guidelines.  Access for journalists will take place at entrance A3S2 onlyTV broadcast trucks for live transmissions by the accredited TV channels may be located only at S1 level in the Parliament Palace.  For additional information and questions on accreditation to this event, please contact Gabriela Enea, Director of the Division for Public Relations and Protocol, Chamber of Deputies.  Telephone: + 40 728 220 372
