Biography

Harriett Baldwin was elected as the MP for West Worcestershire in May 2010. Harriett Baldwin was Minister of State for Africa at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Minister of State at the Department for International Development from 9 January 2018 to 25 July 2019. Harriett was appointed to become the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Russia before joining the government in February 2014 as Assistant Government Whip. She was promoted to Lord Commissioner in July 2014 and served in that post until May 2015. Harriett served as Economic Secretary to the Treasury (City Minister) from May 2015 until July 2016. She then served as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Defence from July 2016 to January 2018. She was a member of the NATO PA frm 2010-2014 before returning in 2020.
