Biography

Ferenc Gelencsér is a Hungarian politician, who is one of the founders and and the current President of Momentum Movement, a Hungarian central-liberal party. He is also the Group Leader of Momentum in the National Parliament of Hungary. Previously, Gelencsér worked as Deputy Mayor in the 1st District of Budapest, and was responsible for urban development and environmental protection. He graduated from Eötvös Loránd University with a degree in International Relations and continued his studies at Corvinus University of Budapest and the Paris Institute of Political Studies. In 2013 he voluntered for the organization Tibet World and helped Tibetian refugees to integrate into the society of India. Gelencsér's work as President is focused on developing and preparing the party for the upcoming elections, as well as bringing new and effective opposition politics to Hungarian political culture. He is fighting for a free country, where the state doesn't tell its citizens who to love or what to believe in.
