Brigadier General (retired) Bardhyl Kollcaku is a former military officer. He served as Albanian Chief of Defence from 2017-2020. Prior to this assignment he was the Director General of Defence and Security Agency, Albanian MOD. During his long military career, BG(retired) Kollcaku held numerous command and staff positions to include NATO Director of Military Partnerships Division, MPD at SHAPE. Mr. Kollcaku has attended Command and General Staff College, USA, Joint Forces Staff College, USA, as well as various intelligence and international relations courses. He gor his masters degree from Univeristy of Tirana and a Phd on Security Issues from Defece Academy in Albania. Mr Kollcaku speaks fluent English. He is married to Valbona Kollcaku and has 2 adult children, Argios and Kejsi who currently study and work in Brussels.
