I attended the State University of Tirana, Faculty of Geology and Mines and was awarded Diploma as Petroleum Engineer in 1990. Later, I studied at the State University of Tirana, Faculty of Economics, Major in Finance and received Diploma as Accountant in 1998. After that, I attended the State University of Tirana, Faculty of Jurisprudence and got awarded a Diploma as Jurist in 2002. In 2003, I attended the Nebraska-Lincoln University, USA and received a Diploma as Bachelor of Arts(Master) in Public Administration. In 2005-2009, I became Member of the Parliament of Albania from the Democratic Party. In 2005-2007, I served as Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports. In 2007-2009, I was a Member of the Permanent Delegation of Parliament to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. During 2011-2020, I served as Chairman of the Supreme Audit Institution of Albania(ALSAI), voted by the Parliament in November 2011. In 2021, I became a Member of the Parliament of Albania for the second time, from the Democratic Party. I am a Member of the permanent Parliamentary Commission on Budget and Finance.
