Natalia Pouzyreff was elected as a Member of Parliament at the "Assemblée nationale" for Renaissance, President Emmanuel Macron’s majority party in June 2017 and reelected in 2022. Natalia Pouzyreff is a professional engineer who worked for over 25 years in the Aerospace and Defence industry, first for Thales and then Airbus. Part of her career has been spent abroad, noticeably in China between 2006 and 2009. At the French Assembly, she sits on the Defence Select Committee. She is a member of the Franco- German Parliamentary Assembly and is the chairperson of the group on Russia. With a strong focus on Defence and Security issues, Natalia promotes the strengthening of the European pillar within NATO and strongly advocates the build-up of the European Defence industrial basis as well as the renewal of strategic partnerships, such as the “Weimar triangle”. In the context of the Russian aggression, she calls for continued support of Ukraine and the preservation of our common values of freedom and democracy.
