Programmme and Media Advisory

The 67th Annual Session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly will take place in Lisbon from 8-11 October, hosted by the Portuguese Parliament.
The NATO Parliamentary Assembly is the interparliamentary organisation bringing together members of parliament for NATO countries. While independent from NATO, it provides the vital link between NATO and the Parliaments of its member states.

During the Lisbon session, legislators from the 30 NATO member countries as well as a range of partner countries and parliamentary bodies will have a unique opportunity to discuss all key international security issues with Portuguese ministers, NATO officials and preeminent defence experts.

The NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, will also be in attendance and will address the Session’s Plenary Sitting on Monday 11 October.

Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, participants unable to join in person will be able to take part in the session remotely.
