He completed his primary and secondary education in Istanbul-Şişli Kuştepe High School. He graduated from Istanbul Fatih University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of International Relations. He completed his master's degree at Istanbul Bilgi University, Department of Business Administration with a thesis on "Türkiye-North African Countries Relations". Between 1989-1992, he served as the Regional Head of National Youth Foundation (MGV) in Şişli district. He served as deputy district chairman and founding member of the Welfare Party and Virtue Party. He took active roles in the execution of international programs organized within ESAM (Center for Economic and Social Research). Between 2004 and 2017, he served as the Deputy Provincial Chairman of Felicity Party in İstanbul. His columns are published in Milli Gazete. Starting from 2018, he served as the Deputy Chairman of Felicity Party in charge of Foreign Relations. He is a member of the GNAT Security and Intelligence Committee since 2023. He speaks English fluently and is married with 2 children.
