NATO PA President condemns terrorist attacks in Brussels

Brussels / Washington, 22 March 2016 - The President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Hon. Michael R. Turner (United States), issued the following statement after the multiple terrorist attacks in Brussels today:
I was shocked and saddened to hear news of the horrific terrorist attacks perpetrated in Brussels this morning. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims of these attacks, their relatives and friends. On behalf of all members of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, I would like to convey our deepest sympathy to the Belgian people and all residents of Brussels, as they deal with the aftermath of this tragedy.

We remain firm in our condemnation of terrorism, and will continue to combat this scourge together with utmost resolve and guided by our unshakable commitment to the values which define our societies.
