NATO PA President Condemns Terrorist Outrage at Istanbul Airport

29 June 2016

Washington DC/Brussels, 29 June 2016 - The President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Hon. Michael R. Turner (United States) strongly condemns the terrorist attack at Istanbul airport as an assault against the entire international community.
The terrorist outrage at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport is an indiscriminate attack against the entire international community. The perpetrators care nothing for the nationality, ethnicity or religion of their victims. It is an affront to all civilized nations.

This attack will serve only to strengthen our resolve to defend our values and our societies.  We will remain united in upholding freedom, democracy and the rule of law, and determined to defeat the scourge of international terrorism.

I offer my sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims, and my sympathy to all those who were injured.  Our thoughts and prayers are with them all.
