Biography

Born on 5 May, 1983

In 2006, Emine Dzhaparova graduated with honour from Institute of International Relations, Taras Shevchenko University (Kyiv, Ukraine), where she studied “International relations”

2008-2010 – attaché, Department of Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine

2011-2014 – deputy editor-in-chief of "Zaman" news programme and anchorwoman & host of several programs on the Crimean channel "ATR"

March - October 2014 - video editor, deputy chief editor, project "Krym.Realii" ("Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty")

2014-2015 – free-lancer journalist, "Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty", author and producer of programs "Tuhra" (about history of the Crimean Tatars) and "Elifbye" (about Crimean Tatar language).

2015-2016 – Advisor to the Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine

2016-2019 – First Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine

Emine Dzhaparova was appointed as First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine on June 10, 2020.

She speaks Ukrainian, Crimean Tatar, English, Turkish and Spanish.
