Joined the National Police as Inspector in 1996, having held different positions mainly in the field of counter terrorismI, both at regional level and finally in the central services located in Madrid.
In 2008 she is promoted to Chief Inspector and currently she is Superintendent of the National Police since 2017.
She has worked in the State Secretariat for Security of the Home Affairs Ministry and for one year now she has been working in the National Security Department in charge of the CYBERSECURITY and COUNTER DISINFORMATION Unit.
Likewise, she’s currently Spain’s representative at ENISA Management Board, European Agency for Cybersecurity, and responsible for the Technical Secretariat of the National Cybersecurity Council.
She speaks English fluently and basic French.
She has been awarded the WHITE AND THE RED CROSS to Police Merit and the WHITE CROSS to the Civil Guard Merit. She has also been awarded the Cross to Naval Merit with WHITE emblem and other foreign decorations, such as France’s Honour Medal and that of the Colombian Police.
